VPN4UAE is an English guide to VPN services for people who live in or visit the United Arab Emirates, and for people abroad who need a UAE IP address. The site started in December 2023 as a set of device guides for iPhone, Android, Windows and Mac. In October 2026 we checked every app on those pages again, removed claims we could not support, and rebuilt the site around sourced, dated facts.
How we check
- Facts about a VPN (servers, apps, refunds, audits) come from the provider’s own website, help centre, official server list or audit announcement, and each page links to them under Sources.
- App availability in the UAE comes from the UAE App Store listing itself.
- The law comes from the UAE legislation portal and the regulator, TDRA, and from dated news reports when no official page covers a point; we say which is which.
- Every page shows the date we last checked it. When a provider does not say something, for example where its UAE server physically is, we say that instead of guessing.
- We have not run our own speed or streaming tests, so we do not publish speed rankings or scores.
How we use AI
We use AI tools to help research, draft and structure articles. Facts, figures and links are checked against the linked sources before a page is published, and we correct pages when a source changes.
Money
VPN4UAE is not a VPN provider. No provider pays for a place in our rankings, and the links to VPN services on this site do not carry affiliate codes. Our older pages linked to some apps that we no longer recommend; we kept those links in a dated table on each device page so readers can see what changed and why.
What we are not
- Not lawyers: our legal guide is general information about published law, not legal advice.
- Not linked to any VPN provider, the UAE government, TDRA or any internet provider.
- Not a support desk for VPN apps: for account or billing problems, contact the provider.
Seen a fact that is out of date? Tell us and we will check it again.
